WooCommerce to Shopify migration without losing rankings
We move products, orders and customers, resolve plugin dependencies, and protect your search rankings with a redirect map prepared before the switch.
Why Shopindev?
Data migration
Products, variants, categories, customers and order history imported into Shopify.
Plugin mapping
Your active WooCommerce plugins are listed and each one matched to a Shopify equivalent — before the move, not after.
URL mapping and 301s
WordPress permalink structure mapped to Shopify, including blog posts, with the redirect table live at cutover.
Content migration
Blog articles and pages moved across, internal links updated so nothing points at a dead address.
Integrations rebuilt
Payments, shipping, tax and invoicing reconnected and tested with a real order flow.
No more server maintenance
Hosting, SSL, core and plugin updates stop being your problem — that layer belongs to the platform now.
Delivered in four steps
Audit of the current store
Products, variants, collections, customers, orders and content are counted. What moves and what stays in the archive is agreed in writing.
SEO protection plan
Old addresses are mapped to new Shopify ones. The 301 table is ready before the switch, so ranking pages do not fall into nothing.
Theme, data and integrations
Theme built on Shopify, data imported, payments and shipping connected. The store runs behind a password.
Pre-launch verification
Product counts, prices, stock, shipping rates and a test order are verified. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.
DNS switch and monitoring
DNS cutover, redirects go live, Search Console notified. We watch errors and traffic over the following days.
Frequently asked questions.
Will my WooCommerce plugins have Shopify equivalents?
Most will. During the inventory stage we list your active plugins and identify the Shopify equivalent for each. Where something critical has no match, we scope a custom build. That list is agreed before the migration starts.
Will I lose my blog content and SEO?
No. Blog content moves across and old addresses are 301-redirected to the new ones. For stores that have published for years this is the most important step, and the redirect table is prepared before cutover.
Will there be hosting costs on Shopify?
No — hosting is included in the Shopify subscription. The server, SSL and maintenance line items you pay separately on WooCommerce disappear; in their place you have the Shopify plan and any apps you use.
Can my custom PHP code be moved?
Not directly. Shopify uses Liquid, and where needed a custom app. During inventory we review what your custom code does and scope the equivalent.
How long is the store down?
It is not. The new store is built behind a password and the domain only switches once every check has passed. Downtime is limited to DNS propagation.
