What changed for UK online sellers in 2025–26
Drip pricing and fake reviews are banned
Since 6 April 2025 the DMCC Act requires headline prices to include every mandatory fee and bans fake or selectively published reviews. The CMA can fine directly, up to 10% of global turnover.
VAT threshold at £90,000
Registration is required once taxable turnover passes £90,000 in a rolling 12 months. Shopify's UK tax settings and tax-inclusive pricing handle the storefront side.
Selling to the US got harder
The US ended its $800 de minimis exemption for all countries from 29 August 2025. Every parcel is dutiable, so HS codes, country of origin and DDP pricing now matter for UK brands shipping there.
Selling to the EU has new rules
EU listings need GPSR product-safety details with an EU responsible person for UK-made goods, and EU consumers expect the electronic withdrawal button required since 19 June 2026.
Shopify Scripts are gone
Scripts stopped running on 30 June 2026. Plus stores that relied on them for discounts, shipping or payment rules need the logic rebuilt as Shopify Functions.
AI assistants are a sales channel
Shopify's agentic storefronts can surface products in ChatGPT, Copilot, Google AI Mode and Gemini. Clean product data decides how well products are matched.

Are you a UK company?
We are UK-registered with our office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London. The delivery team works remotely across Europe, which is how the rates stay what they are.
What do you charge?
Partner day rates are published rather than quoted on request. Project work is fixed scope after a brief, with the quote inside 48 hours.
Do you work with brands outside London?
Yes — delivery is remote, so location within the UK makes no practical difference. We work with brands in the UK, Finland, Italy and Turkey.
Can you take over a store another agency built?
Yes, and it is common. We start with an audit of what is actually there rather than assuming a rebuild is needed.
How do we start?

How much does a Shopify store cost in the UK?
With us, from £3,500 for a turnkey store, £8,500 for a fully custom design and £15,000 for Plus or multi-market builds. Shopify's own plans start at £25 a month on monthly billing.
Can you help a UK store sell into the EU and US?
Yes: Shopify Markets with local currencies, IOSS and DDP for the EU, GPSR data on listings, and HS codes with duties at checkout for the US.
